"Tough faith never grows in a comfortable mind" -Larry Crabb

About this blog
In 1832, after reading the life of Jonathan Edwards, Robert Murray McCheyne was deeply humbled. He related this experience in his diary: "How feeble my spark of Christianity appears beside such a sun! But even his was a borrowed light, and the same source is still open to enlighten me."

Is that faith that is tough? Like strong?
I would agree with that. If you are comfortable where you are, then you aren't growing.
It is like weight training kind of. If there is no resistance, you won't build muscle.
Yet, I'm not sure that everyone is pushed in the same ways.
Sometimes I think God drives certain individuals to be "more", and others He allows to just rest in Him.
You told me before that not all Christians respond well to resistance, that some will buckle up and fold. And I think that is true.
God doesn't give us more than we can bear.
Yes, it appears I'm rambling....
Love the new design by the way!
